Drinking a cup of coffee a day can keep you healthy… Drinking a cup of coffee a day can kill you.

It’s the little things that matter most but don’t sweat the small stuff….

Lifting weights is bad for your heart, but cardio won’t help you lose weight…

It’s insane, especially in todays technological world, that we have this overwhelming and endless amount of information at our fingertips and absolutely no idea what to do or what is right.

When you couple that with the general distrust in everything and everyone that has developed over the last quarter century, it’s amazing we even interact at all.

So what to do… how do you make sense of the illogical? How do you verify the information and extract the truth?

Filter…

There’s only so much your brain can handle in a day. On top of running your entire system and keeping you alive- your brain is being inundated with advertisements, news, stories, social interactions, dopamine hits and stress.

Filter all of that…

Take what you can and establish boundaries for the rest of it.

30 minutes of social media a day max. 30 minutes of news. No melting into the couch and drooling at the tv for 4 hours while you zombie scroll through your phone.

No wonder you’re sad. No wonder you’re depressed. No wonder you’re stressed.

The human body was not designed for that. It was designed to survive, hunt, explore, and dominate the food chain. We were designed to be outdoors breathing fresh air and eating real food.

Filter what you allow into your life…

Filter the information you do allow for context and accuracy…

Filter your relationships…

Filter out the things that make you the product…

Be the best version of you… you have no idea who you are inspiring through your actions.
